Everyone improvise any rhythm you can think of on just one pitch to drum groove. Vary dynamics, length, effects, etc. #CalAllState11
Drummer set a swing groove. Whole band mimic the director. Match rhythm/pitch/articulation. Then try one on one. #CalAllState11
Do call & response pitch matching exercises with your band. Director on instrument or vocally. Start w/ 1 note & + complexity #CalAllState11
